Job Description

The focus of the Finance Manager role is to ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory and reporting obligations. Additionally, the incumbent will champion the financial reporting process, playing a crucial role in enabling the team to achieve their reporting and analysis objectives.  The Finance Manager will continuously drive process improvements and implement best in class practices that result in maximum time and cost efficiencies.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Preparing and coordinating statutory accounts for the entity

Providing support for budget and forecast activities in related areas.

Liaise with local advisors, bankers and statutory authorities to ensure that we comply with all relevant regulations (including VAT, payroll taxes and corporation tax)

 

Professional skills and experience desired:

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Member of NBAA is a must with strong academic background.

Commenced a career in a Big 4 environment with 1-2 years in the financial industry

2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Good communicator in English, both written and oral

Ability to identify problems, make decisions and act.

Ability to work well in teams and develop a strong rapport with senior and executive management

Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Understanding of mobile payments or other fintech products is desirable
