Job Description

Position: HEAD OF SUPPORT OPERATIONS

Location: DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA

Type:         FULL-TIME / REGULAR


We are currently looking for a business generalist with strong people leadership skills who can work closely with the Country Manager and Head of Customer Operations to lead the building of a stronger corporate culture with support operations that are completely aligned with core operations in pursuit of company objectives

 

Reporting to: Country Manager

 

Responsible for:

  • HR Department
  • Organization Staff Training
  • Service Quality Improvement
  • IT Department
  • Finance & Administration Department

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations management in a service industry/company
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Manager, managing people
  • Preferably 2 years’ experience managing other managers (such as Team Leaders, Supervisors etc)
  • Must have working knowledge of core HR principles and local Labour laws
  • A understanding of basic accounting practices will be added advantage
  • Fluent in English and Swahili
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
  • Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
