Job Description


1.      The Sales & marketing department  is in charge of determining overall sales and marketing strategy for the company products towards maximizing the company’s revenues.

2.      He/she will lead on implementation, reporting and reviewing of the strategic and operational Sales & Marketing Plan across all relevant departments.

3.      He/she will advise on new ventures for revenue growth based on market segment, competition analysis and buying trend.

4.      He/she will manage the work flow and plan of sales personnel to ensure maximum productivity, personal development and impact on KPIs

5.      Achieve sales targets  as set and defined by the organization


Key Responsibilities:


·         Develop a marketing and communication for visibility & Brand awareness strategy in form of action plan for the office of Rwanda and for ITM Group;

·         Lead on building internal and external relationships to fulfil the organisational vision of being the ‘go-to’ service provider;

·         Oversee the management of agreed sections of the ITM website – including quality control, data upload and social media activity.

·         Build strong relationships with partners and consumers and regularly interacts with them by attending sales workshops, seminars and hosting events;

·         Ensure that all marketing support are designed according to ITM corporate brand book;

·         Support ITM events programme and any other projects as required.


·         Develop a clear sales pipeline and strategies in collaboration with the Head of Sales and Marketing department.

·         Achieving marketing and sales operational objectives by providing strategic information and recommendations plans and reviews

·         Preparing, completing and budgeting action plans

·         Resolving problems, identifying trends and determining system improvements

·         Liaise with the finance department to meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements;

·         Determining annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the company;

·         Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products;

·         Analyzing trends and results;

·         Establishing pricing strategies and recommending selling prices tailored to the market;

·         Defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses;

·         Forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share;

·         Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities;

·         Improving product packaging in collaboration with  the Head of Sales & Marketing department;

·         Maintaining rapport with key customers by making periodic visits, to insure quality, customer satisfaction, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities;

·         Providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends;

·         Supervise and drive performance of the B2B sales team to achieve targets set by the partner;

·         Evaluate and monitor the B2B sales pipeline on a daily and weekly basis;

·         Develop a strong sales force for ITM and for B2B partners;

·         Insure product knowledge and awareness amongst all the sales executives;

·         Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of sales activities to the Country manager and to  the Head of Sales & Marketing department;

·         Perform any other duties assigned by the Country Manager.


Business development

·         Analyses market behavior including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis, and defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance.

·         Analyse sales performance for the purpose of reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to management.

·         Provide recommendations for product development.

·         Identifies areas of improvement in sales strategies with a view of establishing actionable insights to enhance sales and business profits.

·         Conducts regular research on the latest market best practices and trends in order to constantly keep the business ahead of other players and securing a greater market share.

·         Any other relevant task corresponding to the level of the role assigned by the Country Manager.


Profile (Key skills, experience and education)

-        University degree in Business studies or  related field .

-        Minimum 5 years work experience  in sales

-        High level negotiation skills and  acquired Sales Trainings

-        Knowledge of sales related software as well as other office programs

-        Excellent oral and written communication skills     

-        Strong organization and time management skills 

-        Excellent command of English and knowledge of French is an added advantage
