A client seeks to hire a qualified candidate for the position of a Security Supervisor

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

i. Provide maximum security coverage to safeguard the assets of the employer which include personnel, property, premises and information.

ii. Write and submit security reports covering all incidents occurring during the respective shift without any failure or delay.

iii. Maintain law and order in ALAF plants and premises.

iv. Master deployment by assigning work areas for outsourced guards on duty.

v. Conduct foot patrols and look out for suspicious persons, vandalism or hazards to discourage crime.

vi. Respond to alarms and distress calls.

vii. Ensure all security systems, like the burglar alarms and CCTV are working properly.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

i. Strong commercial mindset.

ii. Good communication skills (written & spoken) in Kiswahili and English.

iii. Critical thinking and analytical skills.

iv. Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate response.

v. Team player with ability to work consistently with speed, simplicity and trust.

vi. Must have a clean criminal record.


Minimum Qualification

i. A minimum secondary school education is preferred.

iii. Must exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

iv. National Service Certificate would be an added advantage.

v. Results oriented and proven record of reliability and dependability.
