A client seeks to hire a qualified candidate for the position of a Senior Security Supervisor

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

i. Protection of life and property and prevention of loss and waste.

ii. Serves as on-site contact amongst employees, customers, contractors and visitors furthering a long-term and mutually beneficial business relationships.

iii. Supervises the daily operations of Security Supervisors and outsourced guard force.

iv. Ensuring the timely completion of administrative functions such as daily security briefing, master parade, incident reports and logs.

v. Prepare written reports, in a clear and concise method that meets the needs and requirements of the security services department and the business at large.

vi. Promotes professionalism within the security team. Coordinates and monitors the operational effectiveness of the in-house and outsourced guards in delivery of services, develops, recommends and implements necessary program changes to meet the company’s goals and objectives.

vii. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and assisting the Security Manager to develop specific procedure to enhance security services delivery capability.

viii. Supervises by walking around to provide on the job training and ensure that the shift Supervisor and guards are discharging their duties promptly.

vii. Monitors, advises, and update the management on all information regarding security issues.

 ix. Other work related duties may also be assigned.  Essential functions may vary depending on organizational dynamics or changes in operational business requirements.

Required Skills

 i. Proven supervision and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset.

ii. Have excellent coaching skills, organizational skills, good computer knowledge and literacy are a must.

iii. Have a strong knowledge of security and emergency operations and able to handle emergence situations effectively while remaining calm and ethical.

iv. Have a clean employment history demonstrating reliability and dependability.

v. Display a professional demeanor at all times, excellent customer service skills and able to work independently while fostering team player.

Minimum Qualification

i. College education preferred.

iii. Must exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

iv. Six month voluntary serving in National Service would be an added advantage.
