Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Capture the essence of the whole position in one sentence.

Provides customer satisfaction through preparing and serving Pizza Hut products and provides customer service according to Company standards. Serve customers and prepare Pizza Hut related products. The person must be able to move as required between restaurants.

 

SCOPE AND MAGNITUDE: Provide quantitative data such as # of restaurants/markets, sales, budgets, etc.  Indicate size of operations for which position is responsible.

POSITION FUNCTIONS: List major position functions using simple task statements.  For example: Supervises the construction of all new restaurants.  (Include % of time spent on each function.)

  • Communicates effectively with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Focusing on exceeding customer expectations where possible
  • Follows the Company hospitality standards during every customer interaction ensuring great product, great service & maintain a great restaurant.
  • Knows about new products and promotions and communicates these clearly to customers.
  • Appropriately upsells during every transaction
  • Communicates accurate service times and monitors timings
  • Follows all cash handling procedures safely and in accordance to company standards
  • Operate POS order entry system and Credit Card terminals to complete customer transactions
  • Treats all customers and Colleagues fairly and with respect
  • Ensures that all customer data is treated carefully in accordance to company standards
  • Handles customer issues on the spot using B.L.A.S.T
  • Setting up and breaking down the Pizza Hut production line
  • Preparing ingredients and pre-prep products ready for peak periods, to company standards and following food safety standards at all times
  • Prepare and cook pizza and ancillary items according to company standards
  • Box and prepare pizza and ancillary items ready for delivery to customers
  • Receive and store stock deliveries, following rotation and dating procedures
  • Ensures that food, employee and customer safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Follow company standards for maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Follow uniform and personal hygiene company standards at all times
  • Maintain work areas – ensure clean and food safe and ensure no unsafe areas
  • Conducts cleaning and maintenance tasks as allocated by the Manager on Duty. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards and to manufacturer instructions.
  • Report to the Manager on Duty any food safety or Safety issues that they find on shift
  • Follows on-shift instructions from the Manager on Duty at all times.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by helping others when they need it without being asked
  • Other duties as required ongoing and from time to time
