We are currently recruit Sales and Marketing Manager to join client team in Textile Products in Arusha.
Description of the position:
Our Target is for an experienced Sales and Marketing to be responsible in coordination of all sales & marketing activities for the group of companies. This role is responsible for planning and directing aggressive growth for the marketing in Tanzania & beyond. Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of sales and marketing team toward the accomplishment of annual sales revenue targets across all channels. The position will lead existing and new market and industry business development through direct and indirect channels. S/he will drive and expand the key account strategy and lead the inside/direct sales team. The position will enhance the sales organization through recruitment, mentoring, and initiate development for Growth. The position will excel at managing metrics that exceed the goals and objectives of the Company. Proven results in over-achieving sales plan and market share gain is critical.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop, direct and implement sales and commercial goals, policies and procedures which support corporate objectives, plans and policies utilizing the following tools:
• Sales Team Productivity tools
• Selling Skills
• Value Selling
• Channel Management
Develop and deploy winning go-to-market on key regions, effectively balancing channel mix of direct, distribution and eCommerce to drive overall revenue growth and share gain.
Hire, retain, develop, and motivate, top-tier and committed sales talent. Mentor and coach to specific performance metrics including bookings, revenues, funnel size, productivity, and new account penetration.
Develop and drive the sales forecast for all selling regions.
Increase sales to existing and new customers, identify market potential for new customers, develop launch strategies, assure adequate market coverage and deliver maximum performance from the sales organization.
Aggressively grow the business with key accounts in conjunction with other regional sales representative. Developing the standard tracking and measurement systems to support aggressive growth of this customer segment.
Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure efficient, effective product development and commercialization.
Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure accurate loading of the planned forecast in support of all customer requirements.
Support marketing in developing and maintaining a detailed, accurate assessment of our competitors and their strategic directions and products.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related. MBA a plus.
10 or more years of progressive sales management experience with at least 5 years of overall responsibility for TZS 15 Billion in revenue in order to have acquired the necessary base of knowledge to perform the job (such as marketing, sales, forecasting, sales analysis, competitor analysis, policy formulation, budgeting, distribution, pricing, customer service, advertising and people skills).
Relevant industry experiences, with commercial roles serving graphics, textile and/or industrial designers. Understanding color science a plus.
Experience managing regions with mix channels (direct, distribution, eCommerce)
Strong communications skills; sense of urgency, customer focused; adaptive to change; strategic and tactical.
Ability to effectively perform the above mentioned essential job functions.
