To lead the technical department in the factory by providing efficient engineering services so that production targets are reached within budgets.


Job Details

KEY PURPOSE

To lead the technical department  in the factory by providing efficient  engineering services so that production targets are reached   within budgets.

 

KEY  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.      Preparation of production and engineering annual budgets.

2.     To plan, organize and coordinate daily engineering activities.

3.     To set and arrange superintendant supervisors daily tasks.

4.    Ensure routine follow up and monitoring of the execution of assigned tasks.

5.     To advise the general manager on issues related to engineering.

6.     To prepare monthly departmental progress report.

7.     Performing Administrative Activities

8.     Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.

9.     Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.

10.   Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

11.    Prepare accurate and timely reports

12.   Strong problem-solving skills

14.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education Experience:  

BSc ( Textile Engineering)

Three years experience in a managerial  position
