Job Description/Requirements

One of the leading German producers of food and feed. It is part of ERBACHER the food family, a family owned independent and successful Group of Companies and a pioneer for future-oriented, healthy and sustainable nutrition.

At the company headquarters in Germany the company has 800 employees and additional 200 working for our companies abroad.

We successfully export our products to 60+ countries worldwide, and we have just established our first African subsidiary “JOIN THE FOOD FAMILY LTD.” in Arusha which will be dealing with businesses in food processing and animal nutrition.


Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns
  • Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, and financial statements
  • Conducting daily banking activities
  • Receiving orders from customers and processing them
  • Receiving payments from customers and clients
  • Doing all secretarial and back-office work for the management and the staff, e.g. booking transport and accommodation, preparing letters, presentations and reports
  • Communication with our national and international partners, clients and stakeholders
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of project activities
  • Managing databases of the company
  • Ensuring systematic document management
  • Keeping personnel records up to date
  • Ensuring of corporate and legal compliance
  • Handling of procurement activities (mainly for office equipment)


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in accounting and secretarial work
  • Excellent language skills in Kiswahili and English (oral and in writing)
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Reliability, discretion and trustworthiness
  • Strong organizational, communicational and networking skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and specific software packages for accounting
  • Innovative and creative
  • Flexible and with self-starter mentality
