JOB OPPORTUNITY: DEPUTY FINANCE OFFICER

The responsibilities will include:
To check the general expenditure; operating expenses in accordance with the general regulations
To check daily transactions
To accelerate make payments, settlement and make double entry transactions related to fixed assets in finance software
Coordinate with other department deploying regular or extraordinary inventory materials, goods, tools
Preparing training document on Halopesa service and training agents, super agents and branches
Keep accurate records in financial transactions in Financial tool
Develops and documents systematic procedures for financial related tasks
Evaluate financial reporting system and accounting procedures and makes recommendations for changes.
Records and post all financial transactions in Financial tool
Prepare data and assist with annual audit
Prepare journal entries to record bi-weekly and monthly accounts analysis and reconciliation
The ideal candidate:
University Degree or college Diploma in Accounting, Business administration, Commerce
Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Microsoft Excel.
1 to 2 years working experiences in related field
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience in a service (not manufacturing) business with activity based project costing
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
Merger and acquisition finance experience.
